In terms of front-wheel drive vehicle (FF transmission), the shaft is the use ofconstant velocity universal joint, universal joint parts in the set is sealed with a rubber, rubber cover if damage occurs, the vehicle in motion will run into the sanduniversal joint, the speed of its wear, shortened life expectancy. Therefore, in peacetime should check the rubber sleeve is broken. Rubber sleeve rupturephenomenon is obvious: that the wheels and the engine will be very thick near thebottom of the oil (the oil for the butter), between the steering wheel in motion killedif there will be pops appear, said universal section of the connector is damaged,should be replaced. Usually recommended should always pay attention to check the rubber sleeve, and the steering wheel to avoid the vehicle in place (as it will cause gimbal joint due to overloading and shortened life expectancy).
On the rear-wheel drive vehicle, the drive shaft with two non-constant velocity joint connector, if the owner is in the clutch start to relax, or hard acceleration,deceleration when the vehicle came "Kaka" sound, the CVJ joints that do not haveto replace the standard. The static method is to check under the car to seize therock shaft about a central location to do the action, if the rotation angle is too large(more than 45 degrees), it means that no constant velocity joint connector has passed a large gap, the need maintenance.
